What is that you ask? It is a fabulous online devotional:

People from different areas holding online devotions & reaching out into the community. We hold #twivotionals Mon-Fri 7:30am EST/12am EST.

Everyone is welcome to come in and listen and share from the Word of God. The support to start or end your day in praise and worship is terrific. Then to go on throughout your day with bits of encouragement by others on Twitter is so uplifting you will be blessed to have joined in this great avenue of fellowship.

Today’s message was read from Psalm 112, Luke 3:7-14, and Luke 4:1-13.

I want to copy the Psalm passage here as it had such an impact on everyone in the chat room:

Psalm 112

1 Praise the Lord!  How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands.
2 Their children will be successful everywhere;
an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.
3 They themselves will be wealthy,
and their good deeds will last forever.
4 Light shines in the darkness for the godly.
They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.
5 Good comes to those who lend money generously
and conduct their business fairly.
6 Such people will not be overcome by evil.
Those who are righteous will be long remembered.
7 They do not fear bad news;
they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.
8 They are confident and fearless
and can face their foes triumphantly.
9 They share freely and give generously to those in need.
Their good deeds will be remembered forever.
They will have influence and honor.
10 The wicked will see this and be infuriated.
They will grind their teeth in anger;
they will slink away, their
hopes thwarted.

These words give such encouragement and I am thinking I wish I had a plaque or picture hanging in my living room with them printed on it.  Each verse contains so so much wisdom or a promise from god to His children that it is just overwhelming!  It reminds me of how much HE really loves me and truly cares what happens to me each and every day!  Verse 4 says “Light shines in the darkness for the godly.”  There is darkness around us and “bad” things happen to us, but we that know the Light of Jesus Christ have that Light that shines in the darkness!

Please join the Twivotionals. If you have any questions about them or need help getting in let me know….I will find the tinychat room engineer 🙂 hehe
God bless and have a glorious day!
